ये हंसी बस हंसी सी क्यों है,
ये सूखती हुई नदी क्यों है...
क्यों है ये,एक एहसास नहीं,
क्यों है, सच्चा खवाब नहीं...
क्यों चेतना नहीं इसमें,
क्यों साह्स नहीं इसमें...
क्यों धुंध की गली है ये,
क्यों सुप्त सी कली है ये...
खिलखिलाती, इठलाती, होटों पर नाचती नहीं...
ये हंसी बस हंसी क्यों नहीं...
